Uzumaki Kushina

Her aunt, and the most amazing kunoichi Karin has ever known. She's only known her since she was nine, but she's grateful to Kushina for taking her in after finding her. She's one of the main reason Karin stuck out the whole learning to be a ninja thing. By and large Auntie Kushina is like the coming of her mother, and she knows she can come to her for anything. More recently though, she's developed a decent amount of guilt for failing to have the first genin team to graduate from Uzushio's academy succeed in passing the chunin exams. And is intent on making up for her blunder anyway she can.

Uzumaki Naruto

The cousin. The very loud cousin. At first it was sort of weird to be sharing a home with another kid who is only a few months younger than you, but well she got used to it. She probably got used to it faster than he did even though he was annoying about it at first. But they're family and as much as he can drive her crazy, Karin cares about Naruto. She'd watch his back if he ever asked her to, no matter how unlikely the scenario is. She misses him now that she lives in Uzushio full-time and while she knows it's a short trip by travel seal, she still only rarely leaves to visit.

Peter Pettigrew

THE BEST FRIEND SHE HAS EVER HAD. As a bitty Peter was her sort of dorky best friend that she was perpetually taller than despite his being two years older. Around the time she was eight though they lost touch as result of a fire in her village. In the years in between she tried not to think of him, mostly because it hurt to think about all the people she wasn't there to protect him from. And the idea that he was alone in Kusa made her heart ache. And then in May they found each other again entirely by accident and it's like those eight years apart never happened. And he's a ninja go figure. The irony, he still needs her to protect him.

Milani Adela

She didn't really know who she was until the most recent exams. But Karin finds her interesting and wouldn't mind getting to her better, in just about any context outside of informant for the exams. She seems like someone she should know, she's obviously got a decent head on her shoulders. And well maybe she can be a little fun.

(Uzumaki) Nagato

Her other cousin. The older and much less loud cousin. He was in Konoha for the exams like she was and well they only communicated through the scroll network and missives even when face to face. Dinner was as much a table loaded with food as two spread out scrolls so they could converse with each other. They're sort of weird okay. Unlike her relationship with Naruto, this one is more staid, almost laid-back in a way. Just ignore his bouts of inquisitiveness and you have a pretty good picture of how they are with each other.

Haruno Sakura

Part of the Konoha nin team that escorted the masks back to Uzushio. She was quiet mostly, but having given her a mostly private tour of the village she finds the girl at least a little interesting. If a little strange.

Hyuuga Neji

The Jounin from Konoha overseeing the return of the Masks to Uzushio. She didn't have much opportunity to converse with him as he had business to attend to with Kushina, but he seemed professional. There isn't much else she could expect of him given the situation at the time.

Uchiha Itachi

For whatever reason she does not realize he's related to Jerkface. But she thinks Itachi's sort of okay. They talked on the riverbank and that's beent he entire extent of their relationship as far as she knows. She does give him serious props for putting up with her while she was sulking, because let's face it she was anything but pleasant to be around at the time.

Uchiha Sasuke

The vinegar to Karin's oil. Pompous, arrogant, total jerk. Sort of attractive but so not the point. She loathes him, there is no words to accurately describe how much she does not like the youngest Uchiha. They got off to a horrible start at the chunin exams and it all went downhill when she came out of stage 2 disqualified and he was her medic. There is no salvaging any sort of anything out of their abyss of dislike. Fact is she'd rather punch him in the face than much anything else. And he's a lousy medic, not even understanding the difference between having medic-nin training and being a medic-nin-in-training with a broken arm that needs re-breaking. And his lecture was entirely unwarranted.
